Grab these free, printable ending blend worksheets to add to your phonics resources for you classroom. These pages include pictures to help students match words with meaning.
Ending blends are sounds that “blend” together to form a sound although children are able to stretch out the sound to hear both letters. You might also hear these letter combinations referred to as consonant clusters.
For these pages, I focused on blends containing T, L and N. Each blend found in these pages has two letters.
The blends include the following: ct, ft, pt, xt, lb, ld, lf, lk, lm, lp, lt, mp, nd, nk and nt.

Practice with Ending Consonant Blend Words
Looking for a way to practice these consonant blend words before using paper and pencil?
Encourage your children to go on a word hunt in a book. During a class meeting, have children search a favorite book and make a class list of the ending blend words that are found.
This can also be done at home! During your next Zoom meeting, do a Zoom Around the Book activity where kids search for blends in their current book.
About These Ending Consonant Blend Worksheets
This set contains 30 printable pages where students will work with words ending with consonant blends. Students will complete words and color pictures while identifying the missing blends.

When creating these pages, my goal was to provide you with pages that will engage students. Many of the pages include mazes or other small activities to add a little fun for children.
The engagement piece can be especially helpful during a time of distance learning! Parents will appreciate the little extra these pages provide.
