Word Lists for Leader in Me

About these lists

Throughout my second year of implementing Leader in Me in my 6th grade classroom, I found a need for more resources to help students write about their learning. Often, students could identify a habit displayed but did not have the language to support their choice.

I spent time trying to find a resource that would fill this need but never found something that was exactly what I was looking for. Because of this, I have been working on creating my own lists over the summer.

To create these lists, I looked at other resources, read more about each habit, and read through desciptions of leaders. I hope the end result is helpful to your students!

Sometimes, words do fit into two or more habits. When there was a strong connection, I put it under each habit.
